Thanks to these simple guidelines, taking care of wool will be easier than you thought.
Cleaning wool in a dry cleaner is not always recommended.
You can also hand wash the sweater, but make sure to use a gentle wool detergent and water at a temperature lower than 30°C.
Before washing, turn the sweater inside out.
Submerge the garment in water and gently squeeze.
Do not twist or stretch the clothing to avoid damaging the fabric.
If needed, you can soak the clothing for up to 30 minutes.
Then, rinse the garment thoroughly in clean water, but be gentle.
After washing, lay the damp sweater on a towel to dry.
To speed up drying, you can roll it in the towel.
While rolling, gently press to remove excess water.
After unrolling, reshape the clothing to its original shape.
Lay it flat to dry completely.
Never dry the sweater in a dryer or hang it.
