● Above all, it retains heat perfectly. Products made from this type of yarn can be worn in winter, but also on slightly warmer autumn days. This is due to the structure of the fibers, which, when slightly interwoven, allow the skin to breathe while storing air and the heat we generate.
● It's incredibly soft and pleasant to the touch. Produced by Cashmere goats, the down feels very soft against our skin. Wearing it is a pure pleasure.
● It doesn't absorb odors and is stain-resistant. Sounds impossible? But it is! Cashmere has special properties that make it self-cleaning.
● It has hygroscopic properties. Cashmere absorbs water from the environment and almost immediately wicks it away. What does this mean for us – its wearers? It's not waterproof, but the fact that it doesn't absorb water means a sweater made from this material dries relatively quickly. So if you encounter a light drizzle on an autumn walk, you can be sure you won't get soaked.

To enjoy the exceptional softness of cashmere for as long as possible, follow our care tips:
1. Dry cleaning wool is not recommended at all times, but of course you can dry clean your vest - it is important that the dry cleaner is reputable and has experience in washing cashmere.
2. How often should you wash cashmere sweaters? If you wear them all day, they should be washed after about 3-5 wears. In the meantime, it's sufficient to refresh them every time by exposing them to cool, humid air, for example, by leaving them on a cool balcony overnight.
3. Hand washing your cashmere is the best way to care for your product.
The water temperature should be between 20°C and 25°C (warm water). For one sweater, 4-5 liters of water is recommended. Washing cashmere in too little water will damage the product. Add a gentle wool or cashmere detergent to the warm water, then place the sweater in the water for five minutes until it is soaked. Gently squeeze the cashmere in the soapy water. Do not wring or rub the cashmere when hand washing. Gently squeeze the cashmere without squeezing out the water. Rinse thoroughly but carefully with clean, lukewarm water. Lay the garment flat in its natural shape on a thick drying rack or towel to protect the cashmere from wrinkling and to prevent it from losing its shape and elasticity.
4. How to dry cashmere?
Lay it flat, preferably on a soft pad made of a thick, moisture-absorbing towel.
5. Can cashmere be ironed?
Do not iron cashmere - you can gently remove the creases without touching the surface of the hair using steam from an iron.
The pilling of wool and cashmere is a natural process. This is due to the specific chemistry of natural fibers. Pilling most often occurs in areas particularly prone to friction. Since cashmere is very fluffy, it's easy to remove the matted balls with a special wool comb or a fabric shaver. If knots appear on a cashmere sweater, it should be trimmed with a wool clipper and washed, repeating the entire process—wearing, shaving, washing—until the cashmere surface is smooth.
