It is easy to get rid of tousled balls with a special comb for combing wool or with a clothes shaver. If there are knots on a wool sweater, it must be trimmed with a wool machine and washed by repeating the entire procedure - wearing, cutting, washing - until the wool surface is smooth.

Then rinse the garment thoroughly in clean water, but carefully. After washing, put the damp sweater on a towel to dry. To speed up drying, you can roll it up with a towel. While rewinding, press gently to remove the water. After unfolding, straighten the garment to its original shape. Lay it flat until it is completely dry. Never tumble dry a sweater or hang it up.
